Transfer round up
It is yet another summer that sees Manchester United still in negotiation of signing their top target Jadon Sancho from Dortmund. The asking price was too high for United last summer and the player having already agreed with the club to leave, the move this summer seems eminent to take place. With the fee reduced to a reported £81.5 million United are seen to be much closer to the deal than never before but want to make the payment on installments while Dortmund want the payment up front.
Real Madrid have also
joined the race to sign Kounde who is on United's radar. Los Blancos have
already brought in David Alaba and are looking for replacements of their
defense due to the uncertainty caused by Ramos and Varane on whether they will
still be at the club come next summer. Varane is linked with a move to Old Trafford
while Ramos could move to the other side Manchester.
Having secured Eric
Garcia form Manchester City, Barcelona are going back to Manchester City
looking for another defender. Aymeric Laporte is seen as suitable option to add
to the Barca defense line in a move that will also see Sergio Roberto being
shipped off. If this transfer goes through it would mean that Barcelona would
have three players from Manchester City. Moving on to France, Memphis Depay is
still on Barcelona's radar on track to securing the 27 year old offering him a
three year deal until June 2024.
Latest updates from Fabrizio Romano:
"Barcelona are now
offering Memphis Depay a contract until June 2024. Three years improved
agreement on the table in order to complete the deal 'as soon as possible', to
avoid another turnaround after Gini Wijnaldum changed his mind to join PSG"

Georginio Wijnaldum has
finally made the shock move to PSG that offered him double salaries as compared
to Barcelona. The Dutch international was clearly seen to join his former Dutch
coach at Barcelona but the negotiations stalled and opted for PSG. Having
achieved major feats in England winning both the Premier league and Champions
league, Wijnaldum heads on to Paris to extend his trophy medals. Ronald Koeman misses
on him again having tried to sign him to Everton from Newcastle but Wijnaldum
opted for Liverpool. Wijnaldumis set for medicals in Paris having signed a
contract that keeps him at PSG till 2024.
PSG are also closing on
to Gianluigi Donnarumma for free and expected to offer him a contract until
2026. The young ace goalkeeper is out of contract at AC Milan and showed no
sign of signing a new contract and had attracted interests from across Europe
bearing in mind he is also the number one goalkeeper in Italy. Young and promising,
Barcelona had showed interests of signing him but the deal also stalled. He is
expected to wear the no 99 jersey but not put not seen as a threat to Keylor
Navas who came into PSG from Real Madrid. PSG are seen to taking a turn as they
have been occasioned with signing old goalkeepers, this Donnarumma signing has
taken a turn to the future.
Good round up 👏
