The Finals are here. Exactly the same day Manchester united reached the Promised Land and confirmed their treble season 22 years ago. Two teams come up against each other Villarreal in search for a Champions league spot in case they win the Europa Cup. Manchester United already guarantee of European football next season but in search of first silverware since Ole’s appointment. This leaves the final a spectacle to watch as both team come in search of two important things.

Manchester United

They have been regarded to be the favorites to win the tie have seemingly a superior squad to Villarreal. However United are without Harry Maguire who has missed 4 of their last league games due to an ankles injury sustained against Aston Villa earlier on 9^th May. Out of the 4 matches United have only gotten 4 out of the possible 12 points having suffered losses to Liverpool, Leicester City and a draw against Fulham.

With Maguire missing in the heart of the defense, United will be dealt a major blow despite having sublime attacking options. A 4-2-3-1 is expected of the Red devils with Cavani playing as the center forward. He has been in fine form during the knock out stages having scored 4 goals in his last two matches. The starting 11 was rested in the last premier league game against Wolves that saw them win 2-1 as they prepared for the finals.

Pogba scores in the finals and will be in action tonight. He scored in the last Europa League Final and for France in the 2018 finals. He is a top class player and his master class would be needed for United to clinch the title. Having been called up in the provisional England squad, this is the only opportunity left for Greenwood to affirm his position in the English squad and make it to the 26 man squad slated to be announced on 1^st June.

United are dangerous on the attack and this would prove to be a task for the Yellow Submarines. A forward line of Bruno being the creator-in chief of the United Attacking Forces, Cavani in the goal, Greenwood on the right wing, Rashford on the left wing and a midfield of Pogba and Scott Mctominay will provide the perfect obstacle for Villarreal to reaching the Promised Land.

Villarreal

The club finished off in 7^th and heads to the UEFA Conference league as at now. A positive result in the finals would mean a spot in the Champions League group stage. Unai Emery is titled the “King of Europa League” having been into the finals 4 times and winning three of them with Sevilla. This will be his 5^th final and of course his wish would be to win it and establish himself as the manager to go for when you are in need of the Europa title.

Villarreal has got no stress in regards to how their team shall unfold against Manchester United. They have got no injury scare at their focal points but tough time for Unai Emery to choose the best suitable squad for the match. Pau Torres will be at the heart of the defense and has been linked with a move to Old Trafford to solve their defense woes. Chukuweze will be an X-factor in the right wing with his pace. Dani Parejo will be the key midfield man to employ his acumen in controlling the midfield and ensuring that the ball reached the forward.

Upfront will be a choice between Carlos Bacca and Paco Alcacer to pair up with Gerard Moreno in making the 4-4-2 formation.
